Admission to Pondicherry University is entrance-based. The university allows MBA admission through the score of the CAT or university exam. To be admitted to M.Tech (Computational Biology) the selection process is based on the results of an exam called the Common Entrance Examination conducted by Pondicherry University in collaboration with Anna University. To be admitted to M.Sc. (Biotechnology) in Pondicherry University, candidates have to be able to sit for JNU CEEB (Jawaharlal Nehru University Combined Entrance Examination).
