Admission Process

Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research, Chennai admissions are done at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. The MAHER Chennai courses are provided in various fields, some of which are UG and PG and Doctoral courses in Medicine and Dentistry and UG and PG Courses in the Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Faculty of Humanities and Science, Faculty of Physiotherapy, Faculty of Occupational Therapy, Faculty of Yoga Science & Therapy and PG programs in Basic Medical Science and Nursing, Basic, and Post Basic B.Sc, and Diploma in Dental Mechanic. MAHER Chennai admissions in UG, PG, and Doctoral programs in Medicine and Dentistry are done based on the scores of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) through counseling by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), DGHS, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

Courses	Eligibility Criteria
MD Doctor of Medicine	Candidates must possess an MBBS course degree from a university recognized by MCI.
MS Masters of Surgery	Candidates will be required to qualify for NEET PG.
MDS Masters of Dental Surgery	Candidates are required to have a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery.
	A valid scorecard for the NEET MDS entrance exam is necessary.
M.Sc Masters of Science	Candidates must have completed a B.Sc in relevant disciplines.
B.Com	Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Commerce stream in relevant subjects.
B.Sc	Candidates must have cleared 10+2 with a science stream in relevant subjects.
MBBS	Candidates are required to have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths from a recognized board
BDS	Candidates must acquire a valid scorecard for the NEET entrance exam.
BBA	Candidates must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board.
BA English	Candidates must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board
BCA	Candidates are required to have completed 10+2 with commerce in Mathematics OR computer science.
M.Ch Urology	Candidates must possess an MS degree in relevant disciplines.
